Face masks are worn to protect others, not yourself. I appreciate that this is a difficult concept to sell in the US.
Same in Sweden.
Difficult concept to sell when there is no statistical evidence that face masks has any impact.

well that depends on what you understand the purpose of face masks to be. the fact you bring up this tangent kinda says a lot about the position you were trying to make.
Seems to be saying blah blah blah while statistics from real life says countries where less people wear masks also are countries where less people die from Covid.
People in Spain, Italy, France, Netherlands, Germany and UK were more eager to wear masks than those in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden:

I'm sure you posted a nice little science report thingy there but in the real world there's nothing that indicates wearing face masks saves people.

They greatly reduce the chance of passing on Covid rather than preventing you from getting it, though it does offer some protection which from memory is around 10-20%. This is why surgeons etc wear masks to stop them passing on infection to patients. The concept is well known and very simple to understand and has **** all to do with being scared.
The fact that you cluster****s are selfish ****wits, who have this warped and quiet frankly weird view that masks somehow impinge on your freedom is difficult to understand. You clearly have no consideration for your fellow man. The irony is that wearing masks to protect your fellow Americans is arguably the most patriotic thing you could do ….. but no, you listened to Trump a man who wouldn’t think twice about selling your soul for a few cents.

No, what it concludes is: Our review of the literature offers evidence in favor of widespread mask use as source control to reduce community transmission.
This is a review of multiple studies, many of them conducted in the "real world".
There is evidence that masks help to reduce Covid transmission. It is not a panacea and there are plenty of arguments to question wearing masks, particularly in schools, but to say there is no evidence that wearing masks has any impact is just plain wrong.
Ok, fine. There is evidence. Just like there is evidence that there is a possibility in DNA changes from taking the vaccines.

That's one of the stupidest things ever posted. The Trump family corruption is obvious to anyone who isn't deliberately blind to it. Ridiculous to suggest that Biden's family is a problem, but Trump's isn't. Actually, it's not ridiculous - it's just incredibly stupid.
