Albion's FA Cup tie with Torquay United is set to go ahead as planned this afternoon - although a precautionary inspection will take place shortly after 2pm.

Referee Mike Russell carried out a pitch inspection at 1.30pm amid concerns that areas of the Plainmoor surface were frozen.

However, following extensive work by the Plainmoor groundstaff and consultation with both managers Russell has given the green light.

The Hertfordshire official will continue to monitor the situation during the build up to kick-off and during the game"
