Continuing from yesterdays thread around top tracks, NME.COM have an article around albums. Top artists from the period list their top ten albums some good choices some bad choices.

Below is my top fifteen from 1997 to the current day

1. In Rainbows - Radiohead
2. Is This It - The Strokes
3. Turn on the Bright Lights - Interpol
4. Sound of Silver - LCD Soundsystem
5. XTMNTR - Primal Scream
6. Up The Bracket - The Libertines
7. For Emma Forever ago - Bon Iver
8. Takk - Sigur Ros
9. Ladies & Gentleman we are Floating in Space - Spiritualised
10. Portishead - Third
11. White Blood Cells - The White Stripes
12. Dig Lazarus Dig - Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
13. Moon Safari - Air
14. Silent Alarm - Bloc Party
15. Heartbreaker - Ryan Adams

Strongly considered Funeral by Arcade Fire as well as Deserter Songs by Mercury Rev.

It is very subjective, but I have to admit that is a great selection.... except you've forgotten The Decline of British Sea Power by British Sea Power...
