I seem to remember eminent posters here suggesting they had, and I can't get my head around it at all, it seems impossible.

I seem to remember that there was some dodgy accounting deal that Boro had with Chelsea, for all the loan players that have gone up there. This might have kept their accounts FFP-immune in the past, but since then that link's probably been severed with Mourinho's departure, and I don't think Rhodes is really going to help things.

Kodjia & Lookman the two have left an impression on me this season though. Plus Daniel Ayala was immense for Boro.

Agree about Kodjia and Lookman. Not convinced that Ayala needed to be immense in that game though.

I'm not disputing that he is a decent player, just that I don't see how any player can be described as having a 'big future' when they're nearly 28..
