Here’ a chart.
These fourteen clubs competed in all 4 of the last Premier league seasons.
Brighton’s points total puts them in 9th place. Does this confirm that we are top 10? Can we maintain this? Can we even improve our position?
Man City, Liverpool & Arsenal have in all honesty been in a separate league – but all the teams above us are arguably ‘bigger’ than us and will be hard to overhaul, so should we be just grateful and content to hang on to our status for as long as possible?
It’s the same with Women’s team finishing an impressive 5th – behind the big four.
I guess I’m happy to be ‘the best of the rest’.
Got to credit Brentford for also being top 10. Impressive!
And our rivalry with CP is genuine and spicy with them still hanging on to our coattails. (Shame about the women though).
