Dearie me, is TB running many of his nags for not much more than sentimental reasons and just supporting the horse racing industry per se? Tho knowing TB, he'll be more likely banking a guaranteed profit whether his nag wins or loses

Forsure...You need the nag to contract in price at some point to make money backing it trading...Unless you lay it which is dubious as an owner/trainer

Well worth keeping an eye on any late money just prior to the off.
