Our record in games he has reffed looks alright, but it has to be said, he is atrocious.

Every game he officiates is riddled with stupid decisions and errors.

Fingers crossed he doesn't cause us a problem!

He was an arrogant individual who used to brag about players he'd booked and sent off.

Just worried he may be telling his 'mates' about 'that guy Bennett who Norwich wanted - yeah, sent him straight off last week'.

I'm not a fan. Having said that, the last couple of times he's, as others have said, been surprisingly good. Been shit when I've seen him on telly still.

Back in the day and before Roy Keane gave him a nervous breakdown, he reffed one of our ressie games at Woodside Road. As was usual at those games it was an opportunity for a few beers before, during and after, and a midweek catch up with Albion mates. Anyway, after the game I had a natter with Mr D who admitted he was nervous during the game as one of his heroes was playing for us...step forward sometime footballer and more latterly star of the small screen, Andy Ansah. As a lifelong Saaarfend fan Mr D was in awe of the dimunitive Albion striker. My suspicions of refs were confirmed when I offered him a drink and he asked for a Guiness and blackcurrant - enough said.
