Not surprising. Top of the table team. Previous meeting ended up with a sending off and a broken leg.

I hope he has a good game.

What's our previous record under D'Urso?

Despite a couple of big calls against us (like that HIDEOUS penalty he gave Leeds) I've a feeling our record with him isn't bad.

I'm not convinced he's THAT poor a ref, either - he just irritates people as he's one of those who loves making themselves the centre of attention.

He's also one of only about three people in history, to generate an atmosphere at Withdean!

lets win the game regardless of his performace. We don't want to be useing the ref as an excuss for not getting the 3 points

So this century;

P11 W5 D5 L1

(W6 D4 L1, if you choose to count the Man City cup game as a 'win')

He has at times been dire in our games, but last time out I thought he was good. Lets hope he has turned a corner

Just far enough away from LDC
He has a way about him that grates on many. A former barclays banker (that's fact rather than rhyming slang). I have a friend who studied their banking exams with him and he was an arrogant individual who used to brag about players he'd booked and sent off.

One of his first games in professional football was at priest field in 98 and he had a mare which was how it came to pass that found out i knew someone who studied with him. It was a shock to many when he was fast tracked to the premier league

Funnily enough, if you do a google image search of the aforementioned ref the sixth picture is of our masterful leader Poyet.

The last time he reffed us was last season when we beat Charlton away. He also did the Man City game a couple of years ago.
