He can not be loaned back to the club he was purchased from in the same window. So won’t be going there (if anywhere)
He's been booed at The Stadium of Light. Are you not counting that either?!Ah! Tw*ts on Tw*tter! Rather different to the fans on fans' forum. Suspect the difference between fans on a fans' forum and fans on Tw*tter is the same for most clubs, ours included.
Not discounting anything. Just read the entries on the fans' forum, that's all. On there, his £200M leaving gift seems to have healed any previous wounds. Maybe tw*ts on tw*tter might have been influenced by that by now? He's been booed at The Stadium of Light. Are you not counting that either?!

Tommy Watson’s Exit: Villain or Misguided Youth?
"My own feeling is that he has been very badly advised" — John Wilson has his say on the situation with Tommy Watson at Sunderland...rokerreport.sbnation.com
To their credit, they still rather like him - £10M transfer and a £200M sign off. Think he's more likely to go on loan next season rather than break straight into our first team - loan back to them wouldn't be the worst thing in the world, would it?

Quite a bitter article and he now looks like a mug, given what happened yesterday![]()

That might depend on whether Mitoma stays! To their credit, they still rather like him - £10M transfer and a £200M sign off. Think he's more likely to go on loan next season rather than break straight into our first team - loan back to them wouldn't be the worst thing in the world, would it?
Written through red tinted specs I would suggest. He's 19 and has been at their academy since he was 7. He'll be on a better wage than his schoolmates but I doubt it is eye watering money bearing in mind it is Sunderland we are talking about (estimated on some websites to be £1800 a week). As to suggest he would be better to develop at Sunderland is laughable. He's 19 and only played 22 times so what makes them think he will develop there better.Quite a bitter article and he now looks like a mug, given what happened yesterday
Join a much vaunted club that is top 10 in the PL and regularly gives young players game time, how is that bad advice in any Universe? Remembering he signed when Sunderland were a middling Championship club.
Well imo anyway
Edit: disappointed that he didn’t bring up Liam Bridcutt as boo-able as I believe he managed to top of a poll to decide Sunderland’s worst ever player a few years ago!

Would have been worse - selling him to a direct rival for relegation.Fact is if United or Villa had signed him they wouldn’t be feeling so salty.
He might just as well have attempted to lob his own 'keeper. What was he thinking?Lovely assist from Kieffer "I can't wait to put England out of World Cup" Moore, of Sheffield United.
