Send a courier round to his house to deliver a crate of Zyweic and tell him to stay
He will be, trust me
He signed a three year contract. If he is not here next season it will be because someone paid a good transfer fee for him. Which the new manager would use to replace him, as they will with anyone else. Players come and go, just as managers do, it's nothing new to footballers to have a change of manager. I can think of several players who will give a big sigh of relief that Poyet has gone, rather than be desperate to follow him out the door.
He signed for 2 years
Ok my mistake, two years. Still means he will be here or we will get a fee. I don't see no reason why he would not be here.
He knows it and expected it and his reaction at the end of the 2nd leg suggested that he is not happy about another season in the Championship.
To be fair, no one was particularly happy at the end of that game.
