Maybe so but I think NSC is a good representation of the Albion fanbase. I think views aired on here probably represent those of the the rest of the fanbase as it is a good sample size. When conducting a survey you dont interview everyone in the population but take a cross section of the society

Fair points.

Also of course, some of the players might be here on thier own wind ups.

Don't think so to be fair. My 'targets' are usually ones a lot of people agree with. It's the people who, for no reason, just slate our best players that are idiots.

Who do you reckon reads nsc anyway?

i would respectfully disagree.

all of the players are informed about ongoings on here.

some have a look for themselves.

You just can't have it both ways.

Either he is a lazy sod who flatters to deceive and is constantly off-side and wasn't worth the money and will never be a success at this level...

Hmmm, he WAS constantly offside in the second half yesterday.

Or he's an important part of the team who is SO critical that if he gets (stupidly) sent off, then we will definitely lose the next game and it will be all his fault. He should be fined, banned and tortured.

He could be an important part of the team, he played some good football in the first half yesterday, but in the second half he just seemed to lose all direction.

You show me a player I've slated on here that the majority of other posters would think I'm wrong on and I'll agree with you.

What do you mean by the players are informed? Who informs them? Do they use the first 10 minutes of training each day to catch up with nsc?:lolol:

well i'm just going on what i've heard

PR manager?

To be fair i didn't notice him being offside, but what i did notice was the amount of effort he put in, chasing lost causes, closing defenders down, tackling back and winning a lot of headers, he played a great game but was slightly undermined by not getting a goal.

Murray - class act, but that was utterly dickish behaviour tonight.

I blame Forster for setting the wrong example on Saturday! ;)

I think it's better to have a sometimes lazy player with talent rather than someone like Revell who was a headless chicken that sometimes got lucky... And for now, Murray or Robinson? It is a COMPLETE NO BRAINER.

Who do you reckon reads nsc anyway?

Quite a few, apparently.

About 20 months ago - just before Christmas 06, I suggested to Bozza that NSC might want to run a 'Player of the Month' competition. If we each chipped in a fiver, we could get the PotM a bottle of bubbly, that sort of thing. He liked the idea, so I thought I'd phone Dean Wilkins to see if there might be any issues over that.

He said his gut feeling was that he thought it a bad idea. He said he had some very sensitive lads who, despite him advising against it, read NSC, read the Argus and listened to the Phone-In. Some players - rightly or wrongly - got upset when, for instance, they thought they'd played a blinder and Andy Naylor only gave them a 6/10. Or they'd listed to the phone-in and hear themselves or their mates being slagged off. For every 30 pieces of praise or appreciation a player might receive, one person disagreeing is the one person they listened to.

NSC was not considered a particularly positive amongst the playing squad, especially with some people indulging in utterly uncalled for bouts of abuse towards some players.

So yes, they did read it then, and I don't know about now, but I can't see how that situation would have changed that much.

That's the player I have seen too - I've never understood why some NSC users think he is lazy.
