You just can't have it both ways.

Either he is a lazy sod who flatters to deceive and is constantly off-side and wasn't worth the money and will never be a success at this level...

Or he's an important part of the team who is SO critical that if he gets (stupidly) sent off, then we will definitely lose the next game and it will be all his fault. He should be fined, banned and tortured.

I like the bloke.

Watch the season ticket DVD if you don't think he's got ability.

Ten times the player Savage was (not saying much, but still).

take the rough with the smooth..

yes, he does seem lazy at times, and is ALWAYS offside...

but, he is a quality player with a good touch, very good in the air and can finish, he will score goals..

just how he is as a player, no one is perfect

The guy is young, the most promising forward we've had since Zamora, cut him some slack.

He is also 100 times better than any of the home produced forwards and journeymen (apart from Forster) than we've had for years even at the early stage of his career that he is at.

I think people just like to have a moan about something and over analyse it way too much. Last nights match was a good performance with the team scoring 4 goals and looking very comfortable, must be a massive confidence booster for them going into saturdays game. Ok so stupid red card to get and yes he misses the next match, but blimey just let it alone now. Someone else will come into his place, be interesting to see how Mikey jiggles the squad around and then atleast we'll know that we have an option when something like this happens again through suspension or injury.

very few people moan about him , most of us love him and know he is a massive part of our team. Unfortunately the negatives comments tend to be heard the loudest. Players do read this forum and some of the shit posted about him is not helping anyone

Murray will be our top scorer this season:bowdown:

OK he's not perfect but who is? Let's let him get on with it, eh?

Don't forget, he's only (I think) 22, he's upped sticks from the north of England down to here and he cost a big fee by our standards, which must put a bit of pressure on.

I think he's got plenty to offer, and his presence means we have potentially one of the classiest strike partnerships in the division this season.

Cut him a bit of slack- players who never get offside don't get into the positions to score goals either.

I'm a big fan of Glenn and gutted he won't be playing on Saturday. However, I don't think posters should worry about slating players - they absolutely should if they feel like it. What they should think twice about is relentlessly hounding a player and banging on and on about him and never appreciating that they have a prejudice.

I was astonished to see so many of those who slag Murray off week in week out as a "lazy etc etc" also piping up to say how he has let down the side, the country and the world by being sent off and will probably cost us the next game. You can't have it both ways - either he IS important to the side (which he is) or he isn't (in which case why would they care that he is missing a game).

It's that kind of one-eyed remorseless hounding that I think NSC users should not do. I learned my lesson on Joel Lynch - Glenn's knockers, take note.

ok yes sorry i meant the hounding that goes on..

constructive criticism is fine, if given with a valid reason, but on here so many of our own players get constantly berated which is bang out of order, and some players even know which posters are constantly slating them.

From behind a keyboard people will say things they would not normally say in real life, it's never going to stop.

I'm sure any players reading this or any other board that are affected by getting slated maybe should lay off reading them.

Also NSC represents a minor percentage of the BHA supporter base, so comments should be taken with a pinch of salt as I guess they probably are!

Depends. If one of our players does something stupid/plays so poorly that a majority of fans are fed up, and they read this, then I'd hope they would take it on board. If it's one or two people having an unnecessary rant then I guess they'd ignore.

ah i dunno, you are included in that, badger. the unnecessary rants that is. if i was, for example, being constantly hounded, it would wind me up and wouldn't be too easy to ignore.

Maybe so but I think NSC is a good representation of the Albion fanbase. I think views aired on here probably represent those of the the rest of the fanbase as it is a good sample size. When conducting a survey you dont interview everyone in the population but take a cross section of the society
