who thought he was doing a good job in difficult circumstances.....bet you feel really silly tonight.

Not really.

We've just got someone better in charge now!

I do think that Wilkins is a better manager than McGhee but is it not a little early to start making statements like this.

You did this kind of post a week or so ago.

And it was pointless and rubbish then.

And I will remind you all again until you all admit you were wrong.

Well he's right, as you magoo lovers were relishing a sort-of sick enjoyment out of rubbing it in when we were losing under DW.

It's still not a sure thing that we're a winning concern, no club goes on forever winning, and not without eventually meeting sides that are in a similar situation or a higher calibre.

Tyson looked invincible, ......for a while.

EDIT:And no I wasn't enjoying it, Idont find it fun watching my team lose.

I'd rather have this than the crap under MaGoo.

And all this without the ellusive targetman MaGoo said was the missing piece of the jigsaw.

But for the time being, it's good to rub it in that you who thought magoo was doing an excellent job (while running our club down the league, hamstringing the players by playing them out of position, alienating the talents by benching them) are seeing what a decent tryer, an UNseasoned manager can do with a little.

Waaaaaaaaaaaankerrrrrsss ! :tosser: :tosser: :tosser: :tosser:

we are more potent in the transfer market - Whing and Bowditch are signings of a calibre we would not have seen under McGhee.

Doesn't wash, McShane and Gifton Noel-Williams are better players and they were loan signings at this club just 6 months ago.

Like Lynch at right-back? Like Fraser at right-wing? Like El Abd in centre midfield? Willkins has also played OGH at right-back.

I wouldn't mind these criticisms if they had a shred of consistency but it is all total double standards.

Worthing
Great - so we'll get one of these every time we win and a 'Wilkins Out' thread every time we lose?

Talk about blowing hot and cold.

In my opinion (and I was a 'McGhee inner') we are doing things that we never did under him. We seem to have a cohesion and team spirit that was lacking previously. I would now accept that it probably was the right time to change managers as I think that the previous 2 seasons of trying to keep us in the Championship on a 'next to nothing' budget had got to Mcghee.
