They don't have the bragging rights 'for now', they have it for far longer after this season above all.

Well done Palace. Really impressive. Hell they were relegation candidates at the start of the season, their manager left them half way through, they collapsed in the run-in and almost didn't make the play-offs - and to get promoted - wow. Selhurst will be improved or done away with, financial problems behind them.

and, in a semi-serious note, they will not be left behind us and the rivalry will say very much alive as a result. Next year we can focus on promotion without them getting in the way, and future encounters will be enjoined with gusto.

Smellhurst might be tarted up a bit but the financial problems could come back to haunt them as they "Spend It Like Pompey" in the hope of finishing 17th.

This board had the Palace supporters gloating on it for the best part of the season. Then near the end, most disappeared when they were getting tonked and Brighton stuffed them. Today was not about us, Palace were the better side on the day, Watford the better team over the season. Gloat on their own board, i shall not be witness to it.
