Time to start supporting Chris Froome

Must admit I can't understand half of what commentators say, especially Sean Kelly the Irish guy. Love watching it and have got loads of admiration for what is a physically tough sport.

Don't worry - nobody can! And as for Phil and Paul of ITV4, there's a good chance that whatever they've said is wrong, or will be wrong almost immediately ("Quintana and Froome are working well together" seconds before Quintana gets dropped).

similar attitude. But watching Chris Froome steaming up Mont Ventoux yesterday at the end of the longest day of the tour (250kms?), and having driven up Mont ventoux in the past, and in that heat, was awe-inspiring.

The only issue with that is is that the French have been clean probably the longest due to the severe punishments they face for doping and yet haven't really done anything in the sport for quite a while.

I think Froome probably is clean. However his rise within the sport in such a short time will naturally raise some eyebrows.

Armstrong admitted, well he got caught out at the end of the day. How many more riders in his period of winning so many tours where also doping, it does make me wonder. I have noticed a change after Lance in how riders perform up these mountains now, its certainly not the same energy, so to me that does kind of prove that there is nothing funny going on.

It took me quite a long time to actually accept Lance did that. Let me say this thou, he did wrong but it was bloody exciting racing, Lance, Ulrich, Vinokourov, Rasmussen, Pantani...
