Three things you would like to see happen if Scotland vote Yes

Scottish MP's marched out of Westminster at gunpoint and driven to the border and deposited there, immediately. They will be effectively spying if allowed to stay.
A real border crossing point in.
Anthony Gormley to be commissioned to make a new statue, along these lines.

Churchill supported Irish Home Rule and proposed the same for Wales, Scotland and England (including an English parliament).

And he said this about the Scots ... “Of all the small nations of this earth, perhaps only the ancient Greeks surpass the Scots in their contribution to mankind.”

From that dIagram it could be argued that most of the oil waters are in international water so the uk would still have as much right to the revenue as Scotland.

2.Make them pay for the monies it took to recover the North sea oil .
3.Get the ship building back down here .

Good for him.

That's probably why I posted "something like this" rather than "this" it was the first image I found with someone sticking their fingers up.

I'd like to see Roger Mellie as the model.

Help them and let them help us to become an independent England. Would be brilliant when all those who toffs who
Consider themselves British suddenly realise that Britain means nothing more than land mass named by the Romans.

Then Gibraltar, Northern Island and the Falklands could hold their own referendums on whether to become independent or join Ireland, Spain or Argentina.

1. Huge reserves of unfracked shale gas confirmed under the whole of England and Wales.
2. Scottish "role model" Norway applies to the Queen to take the place of Scotland in the Union.
3. Sir Chris Hoy announces he's moving to Guildford and has been selected as a Conservative candidate in the 2015 General Election.

'Under the present arrangement the oil tax revenues are assigned to an economic region set up by the UK government, which is called the UK Continental Shelf (UKCS).
This means that oil resources are not officially assigned to Scotland but instead to a region distinct from the British mainland.
But if Scotland were to become independent, and a sovereign state, it would expect the UKCS to be divided up on a "geographical" basis.'
It may expect that, but that wouldn't be the right thing to do. Parts of a country (eg, Aberdeen, Alaska, Scotland) shouldn't be able to declare independence and suddenly own the resources on/near their land outright. The resource belong to the UK, and Scotland should be entitled to a share of them, as well as the UK's debt, on a per capita basis.

That the Scottish pay for the divorce as they are the ones who will have voted for it.
The Isle of Islay residents vote for independence from Scotland (and to keep the revenue from malt whisky)
The Isle of Rockall residents vote for independence from Scotland (and to keep the oil revenue)

Thing is, both that map and your statement seem to ignore the fact that the uninhabited Rockall is geographically closer to the Republic of Ireland than Scotland. What's the argument, that the seagulls there consider themselves British?

Orkney & Shetland want a vote to leave Scotland, so they would take the oil with them.
