**Yawns**

I hope most of you realise that Palace fans and others arent denying Falmer will be a fantastic stadium? You deserve it after a decade of being homeless.

Most of us will only be jealous of it though when you're playing in a better league. It doesn't matter what stadium you have, League One football is terrible.

Oh right the league we are in 'cos we haven't shat on our creditors - twice. Fair enough.

However I agree that gloating ain't gonna win us many friends...

You're right you shouldn't gloat. If it weren't for all the charity buckets you took to away games, help from fans of other clubs in the public enquiry then we might not even be talking about Falmer just yet...

This "sh*ting on our creditors" business is getting extremely tedious now. If you've got a problem with us going into administration, talk to Agilo as they were responsible. I bet you even laughed when you found out back in Jan?

OK its been a week since you were 'saved' - we can all forget about the businesses and jobs that have been lost. I won't mention it again.

I have no particular problem with the Palace fans (best mate is one) but find it funny that you are already on here giving us stick about being shite - a fact we are perfectly aware of!

Oh, and you don't have to come on here mate.

The fact is Churley that a lot of our fans won't be old enough to have experienced our darkest days so their witterings on here do seem crass - I agree.

But at the same time you shouldn't be so self important to think this has anything to do with Palace. I agree that we should renain aware of the role ALL footy fans had in our plight but you shouldn't turn it into a BHA Vs Palace battle.

And quite why you come on here when you are clearly so easily offended is beyond me.

I thought this thread was about our BEAUT of a stadium, given how lucky we are rather than going "oi, palarse, your ground looks like a brothle"

Plus we've discovered LEGO.

In fairness, we may have relentlessly hounded the good people of football for a fair few years in the end, but as far as I can recall, there wasn't an awful lot of begging for cash going on.

Most of our campaign was about raising awareness of what had happened, about lobbying people so we could come back to Brighton, lobbying more people in the hope of getting permission to build a stadium, getting signatures on petitions or people to email the Government etc etc

Not begging for cash out of people's pockets to pay the wages of a catalogue of mediocre players (we may have HAD the mediocre players, but we generally paid them whatever they were due, and on time. Somehow).

So I see what you're trying to say, but you are, essentially, incorrect

This thread should be archived as "the day BHAFC lost the good will of rival football fans." All this, we've got a better stadium than yours, leaves a rather nasty taste in the mouth after all the support we rallied amongst fans of other clubs.

Lets not be Leeds - no matter how good our stadium is.

Nicely put, while I think it's great you've got a nice new stadium, don't be suprised if other fans are a little less impressed - My view is that it's going to be nice enough but I don't see it as 'unique' in any way....

I thought that too - it's not too far at all.

Rushden and Diamonds on the other hand ...

Oddly, apart from the fact that it is crap for transport connections, I quite enjoyed going there. Maybe because we won the game that night, but personally, as little Lego stadiums go, it seemed nice enough to me. They were, and are again, a non League club, who started from two even smaller clubs, so it's probably about right for them. They also have great training facilities on site and they sell Doc Martens in the club shop :lolol:

The worst I've been to by a MILE is Colchester. It's monstrously ugly from and looks like four cheap sheds around a field, is located in the middle of a scruffy area of wasteland so far from civilisation it might as well be on the MOON, and despite the fact that you could almost touch it from the A12, they didn't actually bother to put a junction on the road so you have to drive considerably further up the dual carriageway and double back on yourself, or come off miles earlier and drive through the town. And the pitch is terrible, the hoof-ball from their players was the worst I've ever seen in over twenty years of watching the Albion, and the crowd was tiny.

They did have a very helpful lady in the ticket office, they accept payment by card for tickets on the gate, and they sell chicken balti pies, but these small joys are the only redeeming features I can think of in the entire, godforsaken place.

And that is why I don't like Colchester :D

oi!! Huddersfields ground is a place of beauty:cry:

In all seriousness, I find this "we have a nice shiny ground you are all shit" attitude as Oscar says is tedious and very insulting to those fans who heped out cause without any prejudice.

I thought this term was used to refer to stadiums cheaply built, breeze blocks etc.
Can't really be said about Nene Park.
