Considering we have had the worst ground in the football league for years this is a daft thread. Lets not gloat but carry ourselves with a bit of class, we've been well and truly (and luckily) bailed out by Tony Bloom from the prospect of being stuck at Withdean for eternity. Fair play to the Colchesters of this world that have built decent facilities on a shoestring.

Definatly a lot of respect and thanks go to the other clubs who helped get us where we are...

A lot of the smaller "kit" stadiums i quite like, they have a nice feel to them, a kind of small town thing. the b2net stadium is a nice one. Theres a difference between being a "kit" stadium and a bad one imo.

Oh and i'm redo-ing my lego stadium, should be finished this time tomorrow.

oi!! Huddersfields ground is a place of beauty:cry:

In all seriousness, I find this "we have a nice shiny ground you are all shit" attitude as Oscar says is tedious and very insulting to those fans who heped out cause without any prejudice.

Though I've never been to Huddersfield, from what I've seen their ground is unusual, with its curves and style. The only similar stadium in England is Bolton's, I think, though I've never been there either; I did go to Burnden Park thirty odd years ago. Raebok and Galpharm both appear rather attractive, though I'd imagine the very features that make them stylish would prove problematical should they ever wish to increase capacity.
I'm quite proud of the SOL. It's not a thing of great beauty, though it's quite impressive from a distance. However, it was built for an extraordinarily low price, which can be seen when you look closely. A 42,000 (since increased to 48,000) was built for less than some grounds half the size.

Jesus, so many people slating this thread. Unbelievable! It's only a bit of fun to show how lucky we are. Actually to avoid future offence to every other club we should ask the media to stop talking about Falmer and not to show any pictures......
