and Bournemouth.

I didn't know that Bournemouth had moved from Dean Court. Shame, I always liked that stadium but I haven't been to a game at Bournemouth since the mid-90s.

I'm always fond of stadiums that you approach through a park - reminds me of the Goldstone. I like Fulham and Aldershot for that reason too.

I hate Northampton's but the most horrible stadium I've been to has to be the Madejski - truly soulless place.

Nailed it there. Bar the West Stand, which is reasonable, cheapest looking thing I have ever seen.

Yes, and virtually impossible to reach if you don't drive. I don't know why Northampton couldn't have moved in with the Saints. Franklins Gardens is a decent stadium with a greater capacity than Sixfields. I know rugby clubs are sometimes funny with segregation, but Bristol managed it when letting Rovers share the Memorial Ground.

Colchester - I could have designed something better with lego!!

Since you asked, i downloaded the Lego Digital Designer last night, and made one!

Its true identikit, infact the only two stands made from scratch are the stand with the tunnel and one of the ends. The other flanked stand is just a streched out version of the end stand and i copied one end and just rotated it and put it at the end of the pitch.

EDIT: This is designed to be a BETTER identikit stadium, not to not be an identikit stadium compared to colchesters.

They haven't, they just rotated the pitch 90 degrees.

Sorry but that's just wrong, it should be multi-coloured and the roof should be all uneven 'cos there weren't enough bricks of the right shape left over .....

The City of Manchester Stadium was nothing like as impressive as I had expected

"The City of Manchester Stadium has won a number of design awards, including the 2004 Royal Institute of British Architects Inclusive Design Award for inclusive building design, and the 2003 Institution of Structural Engineers Structural Special Award."

I <3 Eastlands, but alas I cannot argue your point as I have never been to your superior walkers stadium.

I hope most of you realise that Palace fans and others arent denying Falmer will be a fantastic stadium? You deserve it after a decade of being homeless.

Most of us will only be jealous of it though when you're playing in a better league. It doesn't matter what stadium you have, League One football is terrible.

It's about a 15 minute walk from the town centre

This thread should be archived as "the day BHAFC lost the good will of rival football fans." All this, we've got a better stadium than yours, leaves a rather nasty taste in the mouth after all the support we rallied amongst fans of other clubs.

Lets not be Leeds - no matter how good our stadium is.
