What about NEW football stadiums that are worse than Falmer. That's where it gets really interesting...

I'll raise you CARDIFF CITY's brand new ground.

£ 48 Million of corrugated plastic, and brieze blocks.

Not great.

Way out west
ironically Falmers been christened legoland by Palace

With the amount of steelwork at Falmer you would think even Palace fans might have been capable of something original, and labelled it meccanoland!

The City of Manchester Stadium was nothing like as impressive as I had expected, though I must say I have only been there for a business meeting. Sure, the corporate areas were swish enough, though the meeting areas behind the boxes are very small and cramped. We got a tour after the meeting, and though the corporate areas are nice, the public areas look very ordinary, with bare breeze blocks everywhere. And the dressing rooms were not that much more impressive than those at Withdean to be honest. Although the away fans have separate concourses, they are still sat right next to Man City's main group of fans, as they have made the home end a family section, with just a tiny strip of builders' fencing between them, so there has been trouble. I was much more impressed with Leicester's Walkers Stadium, which usually draws criticism for being bland. Again, I have only been for a work day there, but the suite we used was luxurious and the food way outstripped Man City's for quality and quantity. The stadium looked better on the inside too. As for stadiums that will be worse than Falmer, the only one in League One that will possibly match it will be St Mary's if Southampton haven't gone up, or Home Park if Plymouth have finished redeveloping it, so in other words virtually all of them. Sure Hillsborough will be bigger, again if Sheffield Wednesday haven't gone up, but great old arena it might be, it will be heavily outdated compared to Falmer.

MKDonalds the MOO Camp

Could not have put it better myself. As much as I respected the day out I was given within the corporate facilities of MK Dons, the place was bloody miserable and very very plastic. It felt like I was at a business exhibition rather than a football match and what made it worse was the fact I could not shout for the Albion. What I would have done to come over to the real supporters in the corner and make some noise. Note most of the people that goto MK Dons, go because they cannot get tickets for Chelsea or Arsenal FACT.
