I went midweek a few months ago. Queues not too bad especially early in the morning and they have some very good rollercoasters. It's more adult than Chessington so is prone to groups of thuggish teenagers trying to look menacing.

I went last Wednesday. I think it's class, depends how old your lad is though really. If he's fairly young Chessington might be better.

As for the queues, we queued for an hour for each of the 3 big rides, but everything else was fine, no more than 20mins.

It's 2for1 on adult tickets at the mo too if you book online and then collect your tickets when you get there (saves A LOT of queuing time to get in). But this might not apply if your lad is young enough for a kids ticket...

Went last week, get there early, try and do all the big rides in the first hour and a half (we did this and didn't have to wait any longer than 10 minutes)

Around lunchtime the rides tend to get really busy, we went for the fastpass option then (one ride an hour) but I warn you this isn't cheap !!!

Tidal wave is excellent, but I warn you, you will get soaked.

A lot better than Chessington in my opinion, Stealth is a killer.

When we went we fast tracked everything and although it's well expensive it's prob worth doing.

As Danny says there is always 2 for 1 offers literally everywhere.

I also saw Kieron Dyer when I went and had a pic with him. I am much taller than him. He was with his Sister(s) I think and a few weeks later I heard she got done for something if I remember rightly. I asked him to sign for us.

Went about a month ago, really good fun. It's well worth getting a fast track ticket as soon as you get there. There's a fast track ticket for £10 or £15 (can't remember which) that gets you on most of the good ride without queuing, but it sells out by the afternoon, well it did when I went anyway. Once you've bought that, get straight in the queue for saw.

Lots of school trips there, around this time of year.

They take school trips there now?! Bloody hell, lucky little sods, we got Birdworld or Legoland if we were very lucky!

We had a school trip to Thorpe Park before it was a proper theme park. The highlights were a Cinema 180 (Remember them?) and a log flume ride that didn't go up or down, just round a flat course and into a big shed with animatronic frogs singing Paul McCartney's Frog Song.

Edit - amazing what you can find on Youtube! [YT]QVOQD5IUp0g[/YT]

Bear in mind it was probably 1984 or 85 when I went and look what was (not) available back then.

I went today, really good fun. We got a 2 for 1 offer on the entry in to the park - I think there are a number of places you can find these online (Capital was where we got ours). Like some others have said we then got some fast track tickets. There was one package on 4 rides for £10 (each)and then we did the 2 Saw rides fast track as well for another £7. Well worth doing the fast track as we wouldnt have been able to do all the rides we did without it. The Stealth ride is awesome. Had a go at the penalty shoot out comp and actually won a prize as well. Enjoy if you go.
