The point is Mr Dandy is that what Lord B has said has been said about 5000 times on about 500 different threads. OK, you don't spend all your free time on here and haven't got time to read everything. Fair comment. But before you launch into a paranoid assault on what the club are doing shouldn't you have made a tiny effort to try and find out the facts so that you wouldn't look a complete prat?

But hey, perhaps that what you wanted. Congratulations, you succeeded.

The club obviously haven't asked for money before because they thought the Falmer decision would have been conclusive by now. Money would be pouring in if we had a positive decision. They waited a bit for the dust to settle and for the date of the second Bun Fight to be announced. Thanks to red tape, NIMBY's and LDC, this is now next year which is a huge drain on the club's already overstretched finances - hence the request for donations.

Don't know why I bothered responding but there you go. BTW - here's a snobbish moment from me. Anyone else notice that the vast majority of the recent influx of disillusioned posters have atrocious spelling? It may not be a popular view but I reckon there is a lot of truth in it. Figure out the ramifications for yourself.

Edit - I'm not talking about the FG/Ernest wind-ups here. IMHO the latest round of posters actually believe what they are saying. 'Freedom of speach for all' (sic!)

No, I quite agree. This is a written medium and spelling, punctuation and grammar are necessary to marshall words and sentences into cohesive arguments. As a generalisation people who lack those basic skills also tend to lack the ability to reason things through rationally. As you say the recent influx of semi-literate posters bears this out.

Show off! I make loads of typing mistakes and get a bit dyslexic when typing too fast but most of the recent ones haven't been typing mistakes. I don't know why I let them wind me up so much.

It may come as a shock to you, but the Skint label, Fat Boy Slim and this new album are slightly larger brands than our football club. I think *we* have done very well indeed out of our association with the new album launch through the pubicity of our plight.

Norman has contributed plenty in the past and im sure is contributing right now and will continue to do so in the future. Its a tad unfair to have a pop at someone whos chipped in as much as him.

To the original point, is there a single offer on the table for any of our players? or have you just taken a few comments made on NSC and made up a fantasy world where half the team is about to be sold to Man U, Bayer and Inter?
