He was using sky and the club to make money for his own means so it would be only right for him to put that extra money into the club. Not exploit the club for his own gains.

Apart from helping highlight the club's plight in places it wouldn't normally get a snifter, NME fr'instance, the Palookaville kit has generated an enormous amount of sales in the club shop. Would have been a lot more if the silly fuckers in marketing had their arses in gear, but FBS certainly done his bit.

THP, I understand where you are coming from but every club knows about our plight. FBS done it for one reason only, ok, it might come across as doing the club a favour but we all know and so does FBS that the objective was to promote his album.

Can you back up any of this 'opinion'? Do you have any evidence? It's not democracy - there's no vote or mandate in your opinion. Your original post was an unsubstantiated slur on individuals. Let rip if you will, but if you wish to practice freedom of speech, don't be surprised if they demand an apology by right of reply.

Personally, if I said that sort of stuff, I'd just be marginally grateful they don't have a record of being litigious.

I think for all the combined millions Fatboy Slim and Skint have put into the club, a little recompense is well in order. I believe the Albion are still the ones who have come out best in this deal.

Fatboy Slim doesn't owe the Albion anything. Yet he still gave it.

Totally agree that the objective was to promote the album. But having SKINT / BHAFC as business partners helps everybody and harms nobody. Don't see the problem really.
