Yep, I don't understand that. Are we obliged to give that to them because we are in the EU?

same we are not obliged to send Abu Qatada back home
and this is why the tories will not win the next election due to leakage to UKIP

Pork pie land.
What do you mean, 'enjoyed by far more people'? It's vehemently opposed by a large majority.

No government sticks entirely to their manifesto. No government ever. And if truth be told, you need a majority in Parliament to constitue a mandate, don't you?

But I'm beginning to sound like I'm supporting Dave and his cronies, which is a bit frightening.

Really? Certainly no by anyone not trying to fight a class way, and has the slightest knowledge of the matter. In fact, I do not know a single person who is in favour of the ban.

you are running in the wrong circles then
have you forgot what happened to the tories in hove when the live exports were going on
they could have stopped them
next election the blue rinse brigade turfed them out
animal care is a very hot ticket and should not be taken lightly

I know loads. Most people I know are in favour of the ban. I'm amazed by your statement.

It's not all about class war, or 'having the slightest knowledge' about the matter. A lot of people are uncomfortable with the idea of people taking pleasure from the brutal death of the fox/dear/whatever. The blood lust involved is disgusting to many.

What on earth has Abu Qatada got to do with the EU?

I'm not an EU supporter but I do think attempts to blame the EU for everything under the sun are rather ridiculous

There is.

It's called New Labour, devised by Blair, Brown, Bryan Gould, Mandelson, and some others ..... friends of big business, and whose own personal wealth increased many fold from 1997 to 2010.

Whilst most could only dream of gaining so much financially.

Maybe the views of the residents of Pork Pie Land (population 1?) aren't representative of the entire population. Where is Pork Pie Land by the way? 1973?

And more Labour politicians went to Oxbridge than went to public school - they worked through the state system. They are therefore more relevant to more people, in my book.

There's the state system, and the state system.

Many labour, liberal and Tories, went to carefully chosen elite state schools in rich boroughs, some selective, which were in effect as good as many independent schools, or their parents suddenly 'rediscovered' their CoE or RC leanings to get their kids into similarly top religious state schools in nice parts of London etc.

Carefully planned by middle class parents, knowing how to milk the system, and unknown to most parents.

The schools of the following 'down to earth' characters, are certainly not the average Comp or Secondary:
Blair Fee paying
Falconer Fee paying
Blairs kids Selective and school caught breaking admissions rules
Harman. Fee paying
Straw. Independent boarding
Clegg. Independent
Ashdown. Private

Point being, many parliamentary and front bench representatives from all the parties come from a cosy elite.
No room for the true socialists of the ilk of Heffer, Hatton, Foot, in this sound-bites New Labour Party.

Nobody should be forced to live with Katie Price. Next thing we know she'll have Abu Qatada waltzing about the streets of Sussex in a pink tutu and calling him Princess.

Er no... it's the Court of Appeal

Government loses latest bid to deport Abu Qatada - Telegraph

And if it were the European Court of Human Rights, what has that got to do with EU? Just because it's a European organisation, it doesn't have to be part of the EU. UEFA is a European organisation too but we can't blame the EU for Michel Platini

No I do not. Nor do the people with hunter horses.

Come to think of it, the people who get their chicken pens raided by foxes that kill the lot and eat maybe one, probably care about them as well. If you live in the country, foxes are really a big problem. They are not all like Bazil Brush, they are more like Roland the Rat!

Yes, the very one very same mob that enforce the "Social Chapter" that Maggie made sure we had nothing to do with. Blair's acceptance of it has caused the problem, and no doubt loads of income for his wife's practice!

Well, my NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOUR lost all their chickens one night, and used to lose the odd couple regularly. They gave up with them in the end.

Maybe those cheeky little Welsh lads used to kill them for their pelts?
