I disagree , there was a thread on here yesterday where a poster's son had had the crap kicked out of him, he stated he hoped they get AIDS , and immediately someone with the same view as yourself challenged him about his comments ,implying they were homophobic,until they did , I had honestly not had one thought about negative connotations as to gays,I use this as an example of where I consider things have gone too far, there are other obvious ones which are dismissed as urban myths , but even when this proven untrue , people are prepared to argue until they are blue in the face about it.

I agree that political correctness is often clumsily, or wrongly, applied (as in the case you cite). The irony about the so-called 'PC Brigade' is that were such a group to exist it would actually be easier to define which terms can or cannot be used and in what situations, thereby reducing the confusion; obviously this would be neither desirable nor possible as language is so complex, as are the situations we find ourselves in. Language is the most important social tool that we have, and I understand people being protective of language for this reason, so I realize why the majority of people do feel that PC has gone too far; but I believe this is view is misguided and often cloaks ignorance or prejudice (I'm not implying this is the case with you, by the way).

That seems a fairly sweeping statement. Or maybe you've encountered violent criminals from Angola, Benin, Mozambique, Ethiopia, Yemen, Mongolia, Cambodia, Afghanistan, Slovenia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Germany....Any of the above? I don't think he means it like that. However when you allow hundreds of thousands of people in to the country, some of these people are going to be criminals, and the type of crime they commit in this country, will be things we are not used to hearing about.

Fair enough but claiming certain countries 'have a tendency to produce violent criminals' is a fairly lazy stereotype. It doesn't help to support a point of view.

Forget the obfuscation and attempts to deflect the question, with silly , unfunny " aw you're so cute" crap, do you, or do you not have any comment to make on the fact you questioned whether I could provide proof/stats backing up my assertion that immigrants have a higher birth rate than us, I did , and you've remained curiously quiet.
As for the african anal sex theory , I saw it on a TV programme, and despite numerous attempts at googling it ( at home I might add, I'm sure eyebrows would be raised if I was seen searching african anal sex at work) I cant find anything, maybe I'm wrong, maybe i'm right , but it does beg the question as to why there is such a high rate of infection amongst heterosexual africans ?

As for the tardiness of your replies, I gave you the stats at 13.44, you replied at 16.58, in between these times you managed to reply to someone else twice on another thread, which leads me to assume you were desparately trying to think of an answer without admitting you were proved wrong, judging by your piss poor response, this does indeed , seem to be the case.
