From Romania, one of my favorites, Ciorba di burta. ciorba de burta.jpg

From Shoreham . . . possibly . . .about 100 years ago, for the workers, off the river bank. Oysters and samphire oysters and pickled samphire.jpg

Hot chilli sauce with shrimp and fish sounds pretty banging. Probably need a rebrand if they want to conquer the globe though.

They actually sell it in the world food aisle at Asda. True story, I first encountered it on the off chance back in 2014, and was going to give it a try out of intrigue, only at the time Africa was at the height of its Ebola outbreak and I have this weird phobia about contracting a life threatening virus.

So I put the jar back, and we all lived happily ever after...

Double-carb-alicious

Actually, wait, that's triple carb...…

No, hang on, quadruple carb....

It's enough to make you pop out of your McKenzie tracksuit

Yep - quad-carbs; pastry, potato, bread, and chips. For the health conscious, seeking to maintain a balance to their diet, it is acceptable to order a layer of mushy peas, in the barm / kebab...

Picture this Scotland is great .
I don't follow it myself.
The picture popped up on a cycling podcast feed.

The boys were wondering what wine would compliment such a meal. :lolol:

I've seen it around I think. Never picked up a jar though
