...both pre-match and post-match was all kinds of "fun", with the latter being about the worst I can remember.
I know some missed kick-off too, due to the snarl-up.

Sorry to hear this. Trains not much better on Sunday service packed up to London with a joker of a guard trying to deflect the full train onto people placing suitcases on seats! Declassified 1st class far too late. Could've been worse travelling to LA though!...both pre-match and post-match was all kinds of "fun", with the latter being about the worst I can remember.

We didn't rush back to the car park, and @Papa Lazarou mooted it could make for a speedy geteaway with so many others in front of us.Just back now. Shocking getting out of the University alone.
Yes, we watched some of Chelsea in our lounge, expecting everything to have died downWe didn't rush back to the car park, and @Papa Lazarou mooted it could make for a speedy geteaway with so many others in front of us.
No such joy - the car park was the worst I've seen it - cars seemingly pointing in every which way, and no one moving.
Train to Lewes and drive to HH - home by 16:50.2.5 hours Bridge car park to Haywards Heath
Still at least we weren’t joining the westbound A27, which looked like hell
Isn’t 1pm a bit late for a 2pm ko? What time does the coach normally leave for a 3pm ko?Coach from Shoreham left at 1pm - with 4 stops on route arrived at 3.42pm. Missed the whole first half. Worst I've ever experienced. I know some might say 'go early' but how frigging early? The coach I catch goes at same time at 1pm from Shoreham and I can't force the drive to leave an hour earlier. Fortunately for me there were about 45 other people equally pissed off so I wasn't alone.
