I do love it that people are still doubting Crouch, his link up play is up there with both Owen and Rooney and his goalscoring record for England is excellent. Look at the goal he scored in the Hungary game, he didn't look up once from when he recieved the pass and he placed it right in the bottom corner and his third against Jamaica was a brilliant finish. The boy has talent, this is undeniable, and he will be very effective in the world cup.

Absolutely. I don't see how anyone can put a negative spin on a striker scoring goals and clearly beoming more comfortable with being an England player. Owen ALWAYS delivers in big games, hopefully Rooney will recover for the knockout stages and Crouch will do whatever is asked of him like the great team player he is.

I was meaning we are not a one man team, Rooney is not the reason will will or will not win the world cup and yes Rooney stands more chance of injury due to the fact that defenders will automatically target his foot which will not be as strong as it was before the injury.
