Having just seen the highlights, how good was Gordon Greer yesterday??

From that header off the line one minute, to that ridiculous ball out to Buckley the next!

Think he has been a bit of an unsung hero so far this campaign.

Think he was a very shrewd acquisition at £350K and has adapted to the Championship with no problems at all. How he is not included in the Scotland squad beggars belief.

Just seen Greer's pass for the first yesterday. Honestly if Paul Scholes or Fabregas played a pass like that you'd never hear the end of it.

So, there it is Scholes,Fabregas and Greer in the same breath!

Agree I thought he was outstanding today.. Very very close to being man of match
I personally think he looks more relaxed along side el-abd and is able to concentrate on his own game a bit more
The pass was top drawer nearly as good as the clearance of the line

If you only saw the highlights you missed plenty. He was absolutely superb yesterday. Again. Fantastic - a real captain's performance

He's adjusted to the Championship with ease & is putting in some very accomplished performances.

Where did you see the highlights...it's not come up o Player yet?

His omission from the Scotland squad says more about their poor management than anything else. They cannot even identify the best players, except CMS, so no wonder they have such a poor record. Are they still picking David Weir as I heard they have to stop for him to collect his pension on the way to games.

The number of times he cleared danger away from balls in the box in the first half was excellent. He has easily been our best player of the season for me. Always so consistent and how he had made the step up from League One so easily shows just how good he really is. It is criminal that Scotland have not even considered him in any of their squads this season

Looks far more solid with El-Abd along side him. Still worry that he is liable to get sent off at any moment due to hitting/kicking/spitting.
