Jesus Christ, get off your f***ing high horse, will you?

I have stated two things. Firstly that I think the flag should go to Watford, and secondly that I am not able to help with its transportation. Simple and easy to understand. If I didn't think there were people available to take the thing (like the people that OWN it) then I wouldn't have said anything.

As it is, there are people to help. Now, some people are happy to merely offer help without thanks or adulation, and there are those that feel the need to make a song and dance about every little thing they do and like EVERYBODY to know what a FANTASTIC fan they are. Somehow this makes them better than certain others.

It's BOLLOCKS. We've all been there, we've all done things for this club that our friends have turned around and said "you're mad" for doing. Some of us make fifty games a season, some of us make just a few. That doesn't make anyone better than anyone else, because if they've signed the petitions, put up posters or sent an email then they're all fighting for the same cause.

I said I think the flag should go to Watford. Did you even THINK of it before anything was said? Probably not, but now you're donning your Superfan cape and all of a sudden we're the bad ones for going on the train and not offering to help. Bunch of arse.

10,000 posts of worldly advice, or 10,000 posts of sanctimonious SHITE? I know which way I'm leaning.

How the HELL did i miss this thread! :lolol: :lolol: :lolol: :lolol:

Alright

You win

I can't be bothered and the flag won't be going.

It is too much like hard work. Thanks Turkey, Biscuit, Sam's Dad and Chemical Brother for your kind offers of help but I have done with it.

Richie if you are able to do this, that will be fantastic. Brilliant.

(However I think Safeway knowingly brings his troubles on himself and I advise you to keep out of it.)

Can we just step backwards here a moment and remember WHY it is important to take the flag to Watford?

And then perhaps agree that throwing toys out of prams is hardly the right spirit to accompany it.

With the greatest respect, Yorkie it is not for you to decide the flag is not going to Watford although I quite understand that you are now unable to take it.

Thanks for your offer Richie. How soon will you be able to confirm whether your friend is driving up or not?

Sorry folks. Rant over. But I can't stand by and see the anniversary of Robert's death tainted by squabbling.

The sentence meant with me.

I wasn't making the decision that it wasn't going but I was prepared to do something and all I have received in return from some posters on this board is abuse.

Well, I have had enough.

Being the 3rd anniversary I think it is a wonderful idea to take the flag and I salute all those that make the effort to do so.

I know his family are very proud of the flag and were moved to see it at Cardiff.

Well done.

Although I cannot be there I am happy to contact Watford FC or do anything I can this end to ensure the flag goes and its gets publicity.

Robert will be there in spirit.

I have the utmost regards for all the people who are helping and will keep the REMF going.
