Lush said:So Yorkie - all the people above saying "it must go" and who are going by train could meet you there and help?
Wonder if they'll be coming forward?

Lush said:If Watford say yes - do you think it's worth someone from the REMF (Gareth?) dropping their press office an e-mail to explain what the flag means.
As it's Sept 11th they may wish to put something in their programme.
sams dad said:Yorkie,I will help with the flag.Do you need a hand to pick it up ,or only at Watford?
Yorkie said:I doubt it because it means not going to the pub for a drink.
Perhaps I am being harsh but where do people's priorities lie?
Safeway said:Oh, YOU!
I'm afraid on this occsaion I will have to politefully decline.![]()

I have stated two things. Firstly that I think the flag should go to Watford, and secondly that I am not able to help with its transportation. Simple and easy to understand. If I didn't think there were people available to take the thing (like the people that OWN it) then I wouldn't have said anything.
As it is, there are people to help. Now, some people are happy to merely offer help without thanks or adulation, and there are those that feel the need to make a song and dance about every little thing they do and like EVERYBODY to know what a FANTASTIC fan they are. Somehow this makes them better than certain others.
It's BOLLOCKS. We've all been there, we've all done things for this club that our friends have turned around and said "you're mad" for doing. Some of us make fifty games a season, some of us make just a few. That doesn't make anyone better than anyone else, because if they've signed the petitions, put up posters or sent an email then they're all fighting for the same cause.
I said I think the flag should go to Watford. Did you even THINK of it before anything was said? Probably not, but now you're donning your Superfan cape and all of a sudden we're the bad ones for going on the train and not offering to help. Bunch of arse.
10,000 posts of worldly advice, or 10,000 posts of sanctimonious SHITE? I know which way I'm leaning.
