Time for a solid goalie. So.... Former England and Arsenal keeper DAVID SEAMAN.

My team hopefully will be built on foundations of stone.

You absolute :censored:

He was my next pick and i had just spent ages researching to make sure he fit into one of the categories i think will be hardest to fill.

:censored: :censored: back to the drawing board for that category pick :censored:

shaolinpunk is up, he has until 23:37, although I'll doubt he'll need all that time.

I've also just PM'ed a Mod the pick order, hopefully we'll have it in Post 1 by the end of the day.

Fingers crossed.

Shame we can't have a way of editing the already drafted players thread in the other subsection ourselves too

On the other forum I use you can edit one of your posts indifferently, so the person who runs the draft keeps a full list of who has been picked in the OP. Much easier way of doing it but alas, it's not possible on here. :(

Well, Rohana has made my decision considerably easier seeing as for this particular round of picks I was agonising between Jaap Stam and the player I'm about to pick.

This lightning quick winger started life in the Premier League slowly as a left back, before rapidly becoming one of the best players in the league when played in an attacking role. This culminated in a world record transfer to Real Madrid.

It is, of course, Welsh superstar GARETH BALE.

Can I just point out that the poster participating in the draft is Horsham Gull NOT Horshamgull.

Thank you.

Going to fill the role of Goalkeeper with this pick, during a professional career spanning more than 20 years. He is remembered for his gymnastic-like athletic ability, unflappable confidence and eccentric and flamboyant style of play. It is of course

With a little bit of luck he can be my relegated player in a few months. Failing that, he still qualifies on 10 other criteria.

Premier League (6): 2002–03, 2006–07, 2007–08, 2008–09, 2010–11, 2012–13
FA Cup (1): 2003–04
Football League Cup (2): 2005–06, 2008–09
FA Community Shield (5): 2003, 2007, 2008, 2011, 2013
UEFA Champions League (1): 2007–08
FIFA Club World Cup (1): 2008

Considered by many critics and fellow professional players as one of the best defenders of his generation and by some, for the better part of his career, as the best left back in the world.

With Arsenal, he won two Premier League titles, three FA Cups, and was an integral member of "The Invincibles" team of the 2003–04 season, who went the entire league season undefeated.

He won further honours with Chelsea, including the Premier League in the 2009–10 season, four FA Cups, one Football League Cup and one UEFA Champions League.

With seven winners' medals, he has won the FA Cup more times than any other player in history.

He has won 107 caps, making him England's most capped full back.

As I have the archetypal "Fox in the box" in Fowler as my 1st pick, then I certainly need one of the very best to supply him... Step forward the Gallic flair of David Ginola...

As I am on mobile Tapatalk am unsure who is next - can someone mention them please?

So many players I want but with the greatest player in the world in the team, let's start setting up the defence. And what a way to start. He was the captain of the all dominating United team of the late noughties, culminating in him lifting the Champions League in 2008. Way over 200 appearances, winning the league 5 times, having also been named player of the season twice in 08-09 and 10-11 I present my captain,

Nemanja Vidić

The beginnings of my team, be worried:

My next pick personifies the changes on the pitch in English football. He started off as a notorious carthorse, who attracted donkey chants wherever he went. He ended up as a key member of one of the most sophisticated footballing sides in the history of the English game. At the heart of my defence will be Tony Adams.

Firstly, time to wheel out the old "I'm surprised he hasn't been picked yet" line - for a reason besides just his playing ability in this case though.

I've decided to balance out the flammable and controversial nature of Eric Cantona with the shy, retiring wallflower that is GUSTAVO POYET.

Gazwag, time for two picks from you between now and 12:49.

My second pick is going to fill my keepers position, an important place to fill early IMO.

Making 564 appearances for Arsenal and playing for 12 seasons in the Premier ship/league for Arsenal and then 19 appearances for Man City before his retirement. He actually played 325 Premier ship/league matches for Arsenal. He won the award for most clean sheets in the premiership in its first 10 year's with 130 in total.

At the time of his transfer the £1.3M Arsenal paid QPR was a record.

Some cruel people will remember him for that dodgy haircut and that goal v Brazil but most will remember him as being the best premier ship/league goalkeeper there was.
