I am a manager at a massive corporate company and have lost count of the amount of foreigners with a basic grasp of English have been employed for no reason other than they are not from England.

I have had two bosses in Crawley who both wouldn't employ ethnic minorities because they thought they were bad workers? Does that seem fair to you?

Really ? I'm a HR Manager (and Graduate CIPD ) for an organisation employing over 5000 people and I have no idea what "Government Directives" you are talking about. To refuse to employ someone on grounds of their race or ethnic origins is illegal unless there is a very good GOQ .
