Watch Stockport's games if you want to see a really crappy pitch. I don't think they have any grass apart from by each corner flag.

Saw it on TV today - absolutely shocking. Reminded me of Withdean in circa 2001/2002.

I presume it's a result of the rugby that also gets played on Edgeley Park.

It was just as bad last season. I guess it's flat enough, there's just no grass on it.

Even new stadiums like Madjesky suffers with having the stupid egg shaped ball played on it as well as proper football. Hope nobody suggests that at Falmer.

I think the originator of this thread asked the question, probably tongue in cheek, was the poor state of the pitch due to our tactics and most have said it is due to the weather and other grounds are due to being overused having rugby played on the pitches. Dont think that anybody is seriously blaming Micky
