Unlikely that Panesar will play unless Swann is injured in my opinion, Root has already shown he is a better 2nd spinner than Pietersen.
Also I would prefer him bowling on some Parched wickets for Sussex for the rest of the campaign!
Oh and congrats to our new signing on his Century, that's him playing at OT then.

Old Trafford famous for playing two spinners, why not 3. However they have not had a test for a few years while the ground redeveloped, I imagine this includes the wickets! Could be interesting.
