I personally think Vicente was rested last night so that he can complete 90 minutes on Sunday. Bridge has had a niggly hamstring since November and could be replaced by Calde who is also in the wars. He was barged into the advertising hoardings which are affixed to a low brick wall at Oakwell and played the 2nd half with his head bandaged up. Bruno has pulled a calf muscle and can be replaced by Spanish Dave. Adam El Thug would have got a red card on Sunday anyway.

Do you think Vincente will play a part on Sunday then - I do hope so as have never seen him play and really do want to compare him to what we have at Palace. What about Buckley? Surely if he really is better than Zaha you cannot afford to leave him out at all?

Nobody at Brighton ever really thought he was better than Zaha. After his move to Man United, they've given up even pretending.

Blimey, we've raided aldershot for Vincente :dunce:

Gus says in the argus today that he hasn't got any idea if Vicente will be fit for Sunday :)

I agree. Few things more likely than El Hab getting sent off against Palace. Ashley Barnes would also have been interesting.

Thanks SOG, Sounds like a few will pull through. Have to say Adam El does look a bit of a nutter.

Looks like you have enough midfielders to cover the lack of forwards seeing as you only play one up front (Like us) I'm not sure it really matters who starts for you as long as your 11 start fast and strong.

Let's be honest, any Brighton crying about injuries are just getting the excuses ready in case you lose, you can still put out a very strong side and I bet your team will have cost more on transfer fees and wages. We also have injuries to our first choice right back, Joel Ward, 3 centre halves in Gabbidon, McCarthy and Blake (the first 2 would normally be out first choice pairing) and our midfield playmaker who had been on top form before injury, Owen Garvan (yes, the lad who rejected you to stay at the bigger club). It's a squad game so deal with it.

It was trolling, pure and simple. It was articulate trolling, rather than ranty aggressive trolling, but trolling none the less - designed 100% to get a rise out of Albion fans, and start a slanging match. Because he hadn't been aggressive I deleted his post, rather than banning him, which was certainly an option.

So if that's the case, why don't you delete every antagonistic or gloating thread that is started by Brighton fans and aimed at purely getting a rise out of Palace fans? Funny how threads about burning down Croydon remain yet they have nothing to do with football debate. Your lot love to dish it out (5 new Palace baiting threads a day normally) but you can't accept it back. Poor form ???

You have a point but I think you have missed one key factor it's a Brighton forum, therefore
"We'll write what we want,
We'll write what we want,
It's our forum and we'll write what we want"

Now back to the game ... I am both googling it and excited this is what football is all about I just hope unlike the game at your place our team actually turn up this time whoever plays. I left Selhurst so deflated (and not just because of the ground), if we lose this time I want to go down in flames not with a whimper.

Why do keep banging on about transfer fees and wages ? You're supposed to have the same wages budget as Leeds and increased it by £2M this season. If we lose with ELEVEN men on the pitch at the end of 95 minutes then we have no excuses.

So who out of the Palace lot on here got tickets for Sunday?

Ill be there local game for me as I'm in Hastings but as usual the trains are up the s-itter and are not running between Hastings and Eastbourne.Making an easy journey troublesome.
It says on my ticket areaS1D row b .I take it I'm stuck at the front ill just have to get in ground early.
Everything seems to be going against the Weed in the build up ,in adversity you can judge how good a manager you have got.
For some reason I think Palace will lose this one.

So ladies and gentlemen, the game is nearly upon us, and it has the makings of a cracker. Both teams could be top 6, there is so much at stake, and it wont be one for the faint hearted.
With no bookings yesterday, we will be at full strength, but you will be at least 2 forwards light, maybe a couple of loans may arrive ?

Both managers can get aminated on the touch line, and I can see Ollie taking a fair bit of stick from your lot!
What will Murrays reception be like? A few claps and a few boos no doubt, but the atmosphere should be electric.

So what's your opinion about the outcome of the game ? I honestly can't see us losing, we do look a solid team to play against, but you do have flair players who can cause any team problems. I'm going for a 1-1 , with Murray getting our goal, with a few tasty tackles and bookings thrown in.

Hope it's a good day out for everyone, and everyone gets home safely

I hope you are wrong, it's about time we beat you and, just to make it more telling, yellow cards for FFS and Winnie. Shame I can't be there but will watch hopefully on TV.

"• A special train has been provided for Crystal Palace fans leaving Falmer station for East Croydon 45 minutes after the end of the match."

Wow!

Wages, no, I expect yours will be higher. Transfer fees, of course, because we're playing catch up with those that have been in higher leagues for years - but your players will have cost more in terms of academy training etc, as we basically don't have an academy yet.
