10 minutes is nothing in the mountains, if one of the big GC names goes for it over the Aspin they will reel that in no problem.

'Tis a good point, but there's none better at digging in than old Tommy :) He can descend too.

The one thing we are all waiting for.

Yep, VdB, Nibali and Evans have to have a go. Who cares about finishing 3rd or 10th, it makes no difference, try and win the thing or do not bother at all. And I don't want to hear anything about UCI points like those Eurosport muppets go on about all the time.

I make the KoM points like this now:

1. Kessiakoff 103
2. Voeckler 87
3. Sorensen Who cares

Point Distribution Grid as of 2012
[TEMPLATE]4C 3C 2C 1C HC
1st 1 2 5 10 25
2nd 1 3 8 20
3rd 2 6 16
4th 1 4 14
5th 2 12
6th 1 10
7th 8
8th 6
9th 4
10th 2[/TEMPLATE]

Put the cursor over the numbers to see the allocation of points. Two !C climbs to go with 10 points for first over the summits. Voeckler could be in the polka dot jersey at the end of the day, but it could be very close. maximum clear is 4 pts. K---off is 8th currently and that gets no climbing points in a !C,

Descent off Aspin or just wait until Peyresourde ? If none of them try anything then it's beyond a joke.

You've never smelt air like it, in the mountains by the rivers.

Top riding from BMC, but was it worth it?

Nibali and VdB could have got rid of Evans and cement their positions, and put pressure on Sky so what did they do? Let Sky set the tempo again, idiots.

Its stages like this why I think the peloton is cleaner than it was a few years ago.

We expect fireworks and it doesn't happen - everyone is on their limit and cannot attack. The 'big' teams can stretch the race out so everyone is pulled from their comfort zone

Its not like Rasmussen Vs Contador doing track sprints up mountains!
