Why the HELL was it closed this morning? We trekked all the way there at 2am only to find it was locked with all the lights off!!


Is this haven now closed over night? if so it has gone down in my estimation!! Or was it just an unfortunate one of?

Had to settle for the Buddie Buster instead

i would have been happy had anyone been there, even a tramp who had pissed himself whilst drinking special brew

serously, i have googled everywhere (well typed in market diner brighton) and there is nothing to say what its opening hours are. I thought it was 8pm-8am every day

i worked there in the kitchen about 8 years ago, never got much business from the ocean rooms, something to do with class a's not being good for the appetite

There was an article in the Arsegas recently, in which the owners of the Market Diner were pleading with the authorities to allow the Ocean Rooms to re-open, as their business had been badly hit by the closure of the aforementioned nightclub

Went there Friday Night, steaming drunk, after winning £20 from the Casino (£20 on Red - Came in, didn't it? ) at 4.30am, and had THEE biggy. 3 of everything. £9 I think it was. Done the lot

wednesday, it was closed at 11pm when we went there after the peter green gig aswell. i hope another brighton institution hasn't disappeared. we need more than just 24 hour newsagents.

B was in there last Friday and all of the toilets were out of action. It might be a temp closure while they get them fixed as obv illegal to open a food establishment without toilet facilities being available. If that is the case, strange that there is no notice to this effect on the door though

Didn't it only change hands about a year ago?

Have given up on it as our payday breakfast venue as closed on the last 4 months.
