B was in there last Friday and all of the toilets were out of action. It might be a temp closure while they get them fixed as obv illegal to open a food establishment without toilet facilities being available. If that is the case, strange that there is no notice to this effect on the door though

Good point.

But bloody hell, when I went in there New Years Eve, they were closed down. And they were when I went in there last Friday. So they've taken their time. :O

Not exactly true as The Quadrant traded for many years without a toilet as the public one was within a certain distance and open during the hours that the pub was. When they knocked the clock tower down they had to build toilets in The Quadrant. I was told when working for them that it was due to an old Brighton Bye Law.
