Now 1/20 to be next Boro boss :lolol:

Appears Rene Meulensteen has become the favourite for the Palace job now.. Can't see him climbing aboard the sinking shit that is Crystal Palace FC personally.

That would leave Pulis, Sean Dyche, Karl Robinson :)lolol:), Alan Pardew and IAN DOWIE :)lolol: :lolol:) as the front-runners.

It gets better & better.

What PHENOMENAL timing by everyone concerned:

Let's get in a new manager....who will no doubt want time to "bed in" ahead of, arguably, the most important set of fixtures they will have this season.

Premier League Hull V Crystal Palace - relegation battle arguable
Premier League Norwich V Crystal Palace - relegation battle
Premier League Crystal Palace V West Ham - winnable
Premier League Crystal Palace V Cardiff -winnable relegation battle
Premier League Chelsea V Crystal Palace - write off
Premier League Crystal Palace V Newcastle - winnable
Premier League Aston Villa V Crystal Palace -relegation battle arguably?

You've mispelt 'possibly not quite so horrendously humiliating' as 'winnable'

Please let it be Karl Robinson. PLEASE.

Utterly unproven, failed to make any impression at MK Dons with resources much bigger than the league one average, and he has an annoying tendancy to PURR about his team's performances without recognising that they have invariably either a) only managed to beat Rochdale 1-0 or b) haven't actually won at all.

Reminds me of these now-golden comments from Stephen Gleeson when they were top after a few games the season after we went up.

'I don't think Brighton are as good as us. I think we're better than Brighton were last year and hopefully it can continue.

'I think the way we are playing now shows every player we have signed is worthy of being here. This is a big club and we want to get into the Championship this year. We're not hiding it at all. The way we are playing at the moment, even though it's the start of September, I don't think we'll be far off.'

Said on Middlesboro newspaper twitter Karanka about to be unveiled as their boss, says something really when someone would prefer a league lower and a dump like Middlesboro rather than go to Palace, maybe a good bet will be Keith Millen to stay as manager the way everyone else is rejecting it ?

Hasn't Keith Millen already said he doesn't want it?

I'm sitting by the phone waiting for that Parish tw@t to call me - so I can tell him to do one.

Palace fans must be excited..

So that's Pullis, Coleman and Karanka that have turned them down so far.

At this rate Holloway will be getting his old job back.

Well they seem to be pinning their hopes on poaching Mackay from Cardiff.

They should really try and get Dyche or Chris Powell.

But the tool Pardew would be the perfect fit.

Surely palace will just appoint 16 managers next Friday.

Pardew won't leave Newcastle

Dyche won't leave Burnley

Mackay won't leave Cardiff

Agree with you re Powell. Would be gutted though, as I really respect him as a manager/man.
