Worthing
Murray is 21 is already world number 4 and reached a grand slam final. Henman was 28 when he reached world number 4, but failed to reach a grand slam final.

Not dismissing Henman's achievements, but Murray is already proving to be a more talented player and if he also peaks at age 28 he's got a lot of time to improve.

Spot on. You can come to Antwerp now.

Fedex Express wins for a 6th time - great achievement but Murray certainly had his moments.

I don't hate Murray. Can't say i really give a toss about him, his sport, his predecessor - Henman. I just find it odd that Henman appears to be hated and his career written off by people because he's posh and English. Very odd.

Well played Roger, an excellent victory after a toughish year. You can't help but be pleased for him after his battles with Nadal this year. Fair play to Murray, who has only just discovered what is required to win at the highest level, he's been great this tournament and will be better next year. At least he lost to the better man,Roger Federer was awesome and didn't give him a chance, five in a row what an achievement!

Unlucky Murray.

Done himself proud here.

Still only young, and if he keeps this up then his time will soon come.

not bad for Federer who was in crisis about 6 weeks ago, a 5th title at US Open, made the final in France and Wimbledon, semi final in Australia.

Why did people ever doubt him?

He's still had a poor year by his standards believe it or not!

for a poor year that is unbelievably good.

Say if Murray had returned those stats for this year, he would be hailed as the worlds greatest tennis player EVER, be sports personality of the year, receive an OBE, MBE and a knighthood, as well as become the star of The Last Im a Big X Celebrity Love Jungle Brother Choir Island Factor on Ice
