Oh well, no disgrace in being beaten by the man-monster that is Nadal. Andy Murray will be back next year. And for many years thereafter. Half-man half-hen is already consigned to the dustbin of history. Cheers Andy for the magnificent effort, oh and also for making Simster an object of abject RIDICULE

Er.....worth noting that history isn't actually over-and-done with, just Hen that's o&d with competitive pro tennis.
The haggis-bashing feller with the heavy English drawl, has taken over for the PRESENT, but let's just see if he eclipses Hen once he becomes part of tennis past.

See, your hero is only emulating exactly, the same headlines that TIMMY was getting in HIS day.

Incidentally, it's notable how Nadal is such a level-headed chap. Speaking passable English, he credits his opponents and gives them his respeck, before playing them off the court and dashing their crazy dreams. :thud:
What a great ambassador for his sport - no silly tantrums or backbiting, well-spoken and an incredibly good player.

Come on RAFA! :clap2:

It's RE-MATCH time!

Rematch?

Last time they met it wasn't even a match, it was an annihilation. The funniest thing was some people actually thought that little bug Murray could beat the great man, which was criminal in itself.

Expecting it to be MUCH closer today, but with the same outcome. A Rafael Nadal VICTORY!

VAMOS RAFA! :clap2:

Murray first set. It depends who gets the second set in my view who will win it.

:lolol: Fair play to him

I underestimated him which was foolish to do on his best surface.

Murray was 9/1 to win the tournament before this win. I still think he will be about 4/1 to beat Federer.
