I think he was the goalkepper for Richardson's local pub, was overweight and had never been near a league club in his life. Donny needed a keeper and he got asked to stand in.
Yeah, he had a wobble at half time if I remember correcty. I felt sorry for him, he had invited his family and friends down as it was his big day, he was making his league debut and then he realised he was hopelessly out of his depth.
I recall one moment where he rushed way off his line to thwart Maskell, Maskel lobbed the ball beyond on him so he turned round and chased the ball all the way back to the goal. Credit to him he just managed to scoop it away in time. Comical.
