Reminds me of that Doncaster keeper who played against us a few years ago who turned out to be the chief executive's neighbour

WSU, just below the seagull.
I have seen this guy play.

When i was exiled in Taunton i am sure he played for Northwood V Taunton Town in an FA Vase match.

His shot stopping was good then if i remember, had trouble with corners though.

Also a good charachter as well, the Taunton fans behind the goal were really giving him some stick, but he took it very well

Neil Sullivan?:lolol:

Not a difficult spot that one! What makes me laugh is how pro footballers with too much paunch ruffle up the front of the shirt hoping you won't notice. Sullivan and Shipperly being two recent examples and bless him our old mate Clive Walker was doing it and yet was Ok for us

The guys name is Wayne Shaw.
A really sound bloke.
Played for many semi-pro sides.
Basingstoke(Was a midfielder about 15 years ago!!),Lymington & NM,Bournemouth Poppies.
Takes loads of stick about his weight but laughs about it.
Some idiot from Hayes called him fat bas**d the whole game the other week I've been told and even ran on the pitch to abuse him.
Wayne just picked the bloke up and threw him to the ground.
The guy bought Wayne a drink in the bar after and said sorry.

Nope, Dave Smith was his name. Richardson was the 'owner' of the club.

anyone on here know the real name of "Mister Creosote" who I think used to play in goal for Franklands Village and was also a useful cricketer, often starring in the Christ's Hospital 6-a-Side Tournament?

he would get my vote as custodian for a Salad Dodgers XI...
