Fan Advisory Board Meeting Update 16/09/24
Notes from the FAB meeting ahead of a full first meeting with the club next Tuesday (24th September).
- Request from Brighton & Hove Albion Foundation for volunteer support, discussed among group for availability ahead of Forest Game.
- FAB spokesperson available on Matchday - Andy M fedback from 1901. Was welcomed by the fans in the lounge and invited to various Whatsapp groups. Topics discussed for feedback include dress code and minor catering queries. Added FAB banner helped with engagement, agreement that exercise to be continued in all areas of the stadium.
- Sub group progress updates:
Women's Game - PID document submitted to club, to present in full next week
Sustainability and Community - meeting extended to finalise working areas, agreed as follows: Foundation engagement, club presence in city (branding, murals, visual identity), alignment / input into club sustainability initiatives and efforts to deliver for local / long-standing fan loyalty. To present PID to club next week.
ED&I - PID feedback sent. To present to club next week
Match Day Atmosphere - Andy to produce PID ahead of next week. Feedback on GOSBTS movement from X, primary feedback on words on screen & music fadeout.
Fan Engagement - Gerry adding points raised re integrated approach to Women's Game to PID.
