I'm sure that I will get some stick!
With us having a one on eight chance of a trip to Qarabag and the journey looking a complete nightmare. Could the FAB ask whether they could assist the fans and possibly charter flights.
Just asking?

The kicking the FAB members are getting is incredibly unpleasant.

Posters ought to take a moment on themselves before jackbooting their way through other people's endeavours.
No one has jackbooted anyone.

If you’re going to use that type of hyped up rhetoric then maybe you should stop snuffling and start roaring at the masters.

Muzzles off.

WE WON’T BE DRUV

Unfortunately there’s not enough time between the draw and the game for anyone to sort that.

While I tend to agree with you, would this be the sort of thing the club and FAB could discuss to aid supporters with safety and satisfaction.
The club will be massively up against a very short timetable as it is...... won't have the time to engage in more discussion.

More likely the club could have an arrangement with an ‘official travel partner’ but there’s still not enough time to source an aircraft i’d imagine

Aren't British Airways the travel partner.

If there was a will it would be done.

I know someone in the air charter industry. Post pandemic, with a few airlines going out of business, lots of crew being laid off and leaving the business and also older planes being decommissioned as they are not fuel efficient, it is really hard to find larger commercial aircraft to charter at short notice.

This needs a thread of it's own. I'm sure it's not a coincidence that it's the Amex pictured.
The Amex is rare in terms of photo opportunities of having a train station next to a ground. It’s a nice pic.

And you can feedback about home game travel - it says that in the survey, although it’s supposed to predominantly be about away days.

I missed the bit where it said about home travel. I was filling it out on behalf of someone else who may not be coming to the Europa League match if it's a 8pm ko due to the shambles getting home after. They only live in Worthing, but have work the next day, the only reason they managed to get on the last train to Worthing before was because it was late. They're not risking it.

Which is why I stump up the extra to pay for Seagull Travel for evening games.

How many times can someone write 'everything you're doing is pointless, meaningless and worthless' before it reads:-

You're pointless
You're meaningless
You're worthless.

Irrespective where you draw the line it feels like that threshold has been crossed.

Not only that but crossed by people doing nothing, less than nothing, themselves yet still manage to be very vocal.
Do nothing?
Given that the club are clearly open to meeting fan groups, have never said that the FAB is the sole group that they are open to meeting or hearing from and that they pride themselves on engaging with fans - without the need for the govt or PL to regulate . Then those who are dismissive of the FAB on here , consider it ineffectual and still want to lobby the club to change. Then as @attila as often argued - why not organise, protest and change the club yourself be it for safe standing, food, travel , or ticket sharing, pricing and sanctions. Tell us how you're getting on - I'd be interested to hear what you're doing and the progress you're making ?
Some of us have tried to make a difference and some are still trying. But, the Club does not wish to hear anything that isn’t in line with their way of thinking. The way they’ve behaved at times is a bit of an embarrassment really.

The FAB discussed the following items on their weekly call:

Recruitment – Nigel and Gerry reported back (as part of the recruitment sub committee) on working with the club on the application form and voting process for the new FAB membership. Clive was about to join a Seagulls over London meeting to discuss the new role on the FAB of a Supporters’ Club representative.

Monster Flag Update – Clive is working with Monster Drinks and the Club to create a new flag with input from fans. An initial meeting with a group of fans and Fat Boy Slim is being set up shortly.

Fans’ Webinar – Gerry had held a disappointing meeting with the Club last week but the FAB felt it was important to still go ahead and hold a fans’ webinar. It is important for the FAB to get fans’ feedback. Gill agreed to ask the club for some technical support with the platform and to try to find a way to move forward with this important piece of fan engagement.

DSA – Gill reported that the DSA (Disabled Supporters Association) will be officially launched at Saturday’s game against Everton. A half time interview between her, Niraj and Richie Reynolds is due to take place to explain the purpose of the DSA. Guy Butters, who has agreed to act as an ambassador for the FAB will also be interviewed. A short article will be in the programme.

WSL – Jo reported that an away coach has been booked to take fans to the last game at Arsenal. She will work with the club to publicise this first for the WSL.
