Excellent for you. I saw Fulham there on the way to the final in 2010. Did the sights in the morning (Coliseum, EDIT  Parthenon Pantheon, Forum, St Peters) before finding a bar full of Cottagers and then the scary convoy of buses to the ground. Trastevere is a great area with restaurants and craft beer bars. Enjoy!
