[Misc] The Award-winning official "More Snow Tomorrow?" Thread [2023-24 Season]

Cheshire Cat

The most curious thing..
Mostly the "when is it going to stop raining up north" thread.

There is no foreseeable chance of snow this year.

Well 2015 is ending as it started. What an absolute shocker for snow lovers. Hoping for better things in 2016, but not confident.

Possibly "Icy blast" on New year's day onwards????

There seems to be some blocking and something then brewing from the east, models showing it never really makes it to our shores though.

Certainly some likelyhood of more seasonal weather with an outside chance of something a little more icy.

At this point take your pick, still always likely not to happen, but depends whether your a 'cup half full' kinda guy, US you needn't answer the previous question :)

Be warned. A bone chilling daytime maximum of 9 c 48 f expected on new years day. Cue the weatherman saying how cold it will feel

Looks like the unseasonably warm weather in New York is coming to an end as Winter Storm Goliath (where do they get these names?) heads into the North East. Good news for the upstate ski resorts which should be getting between 5 and 8 inches of snow
