Maximum Political Capital out of a Yes vote would be for Prescott to announce it in the first or second week of September, then swan off down to Brighton in his two jags to receive the plaudits.
Naturally the converse applies. If a NO decision then it won't be announced until October, after the conference has taken place, so that PRescott can avoid the eggs.

The article says decisions can be made during recess and I read it again and it does say BY AUGUST however it goes on to say any decision could br subject to a judicial review and a judge could ask Prescotts office to reconsider...... now can the Nimbys afford to do this or for that matter can the Albion (if necessary)Gritt23 said:... but that timing just makes no sense at all. Parliament doesn't come into it. All that Parliament does is pass laws and scrutinise the work of ministers and government departments.

It's a pity it is sooooooo easy to get a change of use of land for say .... a football ground to retail park and sell an institution down the river than it is to get permission to build an brand new, environmentally friendly community stadium on a BROWN FIELD (IMHO) site...

That says to me that the Falmer inspector put in an entirely different report to the damning Charles Hoile report.
Or am I reading too much into it?
