I have been an Amex STH since the beginning so get 200 points as a starter but my son wasn't - his first season was 2014/15. I also didn't really do any aways when he was younger. In the last three seasons especially we've done as many aways as the BWB* will allow but while my points were high from being a long time STH he wasn't so we had to start with the unfashionable long aways (I find these more fun anyway).Used to be a season ticket holder in the championship years. Gave it up as had 2 kids. Both are now old enough to consistently attend games and we finally got them season tickets.
So question. With us now being bottom of the food chain how many away games are likely to reach our level? obviously not expecting the glamour games but keen to start attending away again and building the points up!
Would appreciate an overview of what away games reached the lowest st threshold
Thanks
After doing those and home cup games we quickly got our points up. We are now T1 for any away with 3000 allocation and were T1 for Ajax and Roma. We drop to T2 for Bournemouth and Brentford and will again next season, I reckon, as the calc has me starting at 293 next season. Annoyingly the boy now has more points than me as he did the Wolves cup game and Palace away and I didn't.
You won't have that big baseline but keep renewing and going to the less desirable aways and the points soon mount up.
